Doula Profile: Minuete
Minuete has spent years walking alongside families, offering calm, compassionate care during some of life’s biggest milestones. She has a natural gift with children, helping them feel seen, supported, and confident as they adjust to becoming older siblings. With over five years of experience as a photographer, she also helps families preserve their birth stories with artistry and care.
In 2022, she co-founded The Seeds That Bloom, a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing children and youth. Her work there deepened her understanding of family dynamics, making her a trusted support for parents preparing for major transitions—whether welcoming a baby, navigating postpartum, or helping young children adjust.
As a mother herself, Minuete’s own doula experience reshaped her birth journey. It inspired her to ensure every family feels informed, safe, and genuinely supported—both in pregnancy and postpartum. She supports home and hospital births, helps families create empowering birth plans, and encourages thoughtful postpartum planning to reduce the risk of mental health challenges after birth.
Minuete is committed to ongoing growth in her practice. Under the mentorship of Charmaine Hinds, she continues to refine her skills, stay current with evolving birth practices, and bring families the highest level of care.
